3D Instruments Return Policy
3D Instruments LP warrants the products it manufactures from defects in materials and workmanship. The time period of this warranty varies depending upon the product. All of our mechanical “Direct Drive Difference” pressure gauges are warranted for a full six years from the date of purchase, other products warranty periods vary.
If you believe that a 3D product you purchased has a material or workmanship defect please contact 3D Customer Service by email or telephone and request a “Returned Goods Material Authorization”, (RMA). Once this number is issued return the product to 3D Instruments LP Attention “Warranty Return Department” using a recognized freight service. 3D WILL NOT ACCEPT goods returned without an RMA, or goods sent without prior authorization. All returned goods boxes should be prominently marked with the RMA number for easy reference.
Upon receipt 3D will inspect all returns for valid warranty concerns and at its’ discretion, repair or replace them in a timely fashion. Typical turn around times are about two weeks for evaluation/repair/replacement. If a valid warranty return is accepted 3D will repair and return ship the goods to the ORIGINAL PURCHASER at its’ own expense. Returned goods remain the property of the ORIGINAL PURCHASER in the temporary care of 3D Instruments LP.
If a returned item is found to be damaged by service or other means beyond the manufacturing control of 3D Instruments the ORIGINAL PURCHASER will be contacted with a determination response and an estimate of repair.

Six Year Warranty to Purchaser
3D INSTRUMENTS, LP (“3D”) hereby warrants to the original purchaser of any 3D Direct Drive pressure gauge that it will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of six (6) years from the date of delivery to the purchaser (the “Warranty Period”). No other express warranty is given and no other affirmation of 3D or any of its agents, representatives or dealers, by words or actions, shall constitutes a warranty or the assumption by 3D of any liability or obligation.
The obligation of 3D under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing as the company may elect any pressure gauge that proves in the company’s judgment to be defective in material or workmanship within the Warranty Period. 3D will repair or replace the defective pressure gauge free of charge to the original purchaser, provided the gauge is returned and received by 3D at 2900 East White Star Avenue, Anaheim, California 92806 during the Warranty Period with all transportation charges prepaid. 3D shall have no obligation or liability extending beyond that of repair or replacement as stated above, and without any limitation of the foregoing, 3D shall have no obligation or liability to the purchaser for any direct or consequential damages or loss of profits. Repaired gauges shall be warranted for the unexpired portion of the original Warranty Period only.
This warranty shall not apply to any product or part which has been subjected to use in excess of applicable 3D specifications, use in violation of any special conditions noted on the pressure gauge, disassembly, misuse, or negligence in handling or extensive testing, nor does it apply to replacement of plugged or damaged bourdon coils resulting from chemical or medical contamination.
By acceptance of the 3D product, the purchaser agrees that: (1) the foregoing express warranty of repair and replacement is the exclusive and only warranty to pass with such product or part; (2) the purchaser has not relied on the skill or judgment of 3D in selecting any such product or part for any particular purpose or need of the purchaser; and (3) THE FOREGOING EXPRESS WARRANTY IS IN PLACE OF AND IN LIEU OF ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THOSE FOR MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WHICH ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED.
